Summary
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, responsible to inspect products as various stages of production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
. Other duties may be assigned.
Verifies quantities of product or material.
Rejects defective materials and returns to Inventory for replacement.
Verify that Client Label versus Packing Slip is accurate, per package.
Upon determination of item error, quantify, missing material etc., enters error in Quality Control Log.
Responsible to create a First Article for production line per Bill of Instructions.
Verify that carrier labels match packing slips.
Ensure shipments are accurate.
Ensure proper packing procedures are being followed by all production personnel.
Ensure Bill of Material instruction notes are followed.
Complete Inspection Form for individual batches.
Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Experience with Microsoft programs.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Rate of pay: $11.00 - $12.00p/h
