SOC - Social Work/LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) We are seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our team in Freehold, Cherry Hill, Toms River, Middle Sex, Monmouth Junction, and Fair Lawn, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with clients - Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans - Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need - Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records - Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of counseling Skills:
- Proficient in conducting research related to mental health and counseling - Knowledge of coding and billing procedures for insurance reimbursement - Experience in child and family counseling, with a focus on pediatrics - Specialization in gender issues counseling, including LGBTQ
issues - Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and interventions - Understanding of behavioral health disorders and treatment options - Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities - Strong crisis intervention skills - Excellent patient care and communication skills As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing quality mental health services to individuals of all ages.
