Administrative Assistant Clerical


Summary:
This position performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering phones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing and record-keeping.
Essential Functions:

1. Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
2. Operates listed office machines as required.
3. Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material.

This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours or work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
No travel is expected for this position.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
