Penn Medicine Princeton Health is currently searching for a?Full Time, Days, Nurse Practitioner?for Princeton Medicine Physicians for Hospitalist Services.


Schedule: The hours of this position are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 3 to 4 days per week, with e/o weekend rotation.


Position Summary:?Provides direct and indirect patient care, in collaboration with the physicians in the acute inpatient setting and the Observation unit at Penn Medicine ? Princeton Medical Center.


Qualifications:


All Princeton Health employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.


Required:


- Advanced Nurse Practice Degree from an accredited nursing school and all of the education required to have achieved such a degree


- Board certification as appropriate


- New Jersey State RN License


- New Jersey State Advanced Nurse Practitioner License


- American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification (ANCC)


- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and NJ Controlled Dangerous Substances licenses


- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)


- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)


- At least two (2) years? experience in acute inpatient care is required. Experience in emergency medicine, cardiac, cardiothoracic or medical intensive care unit


- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills


- Ability to work independently


- Effective liaison with other health care professionals


- Effective time management and problem solving skills


- Demonstrates leadership and management skills


- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills


- Ability to utilize selected patient care EMR and applications


- Experience and knowledge on but not limited to code situations, acute coronary care, cardiac drug therapy, general surgical emergencies, basic neurology and gastroenterology, evidenced based guidelines on management of common conditions and recognition of inpatient urgencies


- Pushing/Pulling (up to 50 pounds) - Occasionally


- Lifting/Carrying (up to 50 pounds) - Occasionally


Preferred:


- Experience in Clinical Decision Unit/Observation Care


- Acute care certification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
