Senior Systems Engineer

Description PURPOSE   Designs, implements, maintains and supports infrastructure services in accordance with business and functional requirements, using appropriate SITA standards, policies and processes across multiple projects.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Systems implementation for customers, customer requirements gathering, software implementation and integration, user acceptance testing, training, software install documentation, and ongoing maintenance and support for all SITA and Com-Net Software products Includes deployment, configuration, and integration of the platform, operating system, and application software Responsible for resolution of escalated technical issues requiring a higher level of expertise Extensive travel, between  50%  - 75%   Qualifications   EXPERIENCE At least 5 years experience in implementation or support of infrastructure platforms, application deployments, implementing systems and modules with experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Technologies (2012/2014) and core functions (Structured Query Language (SQL), T-SQL, SQL Jobs, SQL Reporting, Database Mirroring, Transaction Log shipping) Extensive experience with Operating Systems (Microsoft 2008RD/W7/8/10/2012R2/2016) and core functions (Active Directory, IIS, Message Queuing, Backup, Windows Deployment Services) Intermediate networking concepts Exceptional analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, inclusive of the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical people Strong leadership skills paired with the ability to mentor and teach others   DESIRED -     Experience with Microsoft Clustering Technologies (Failover Clusters, Hyper-V Clusters, SQL Server Clusters) -     Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and SAN protocols (iSCSI, Fiber Channel) -     Experience with client side scripting technologies and core functions including XML, XSL, HTML, HTML5, WPF, WMI -     Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware-ESX/ESXi/VSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V) -     Experience with core networking and the OSI model (DNS/DHCP/VLANS/Routing/Firewalls/Access Lists, etc.) -     Experience with Network Distributed Audio (Cobranet/Dante) and Audio concepts (Digital Signal Processors, Mixers, Amplifiers, Microphones, Speakers, Equalization) Microsoft, Cisco or Tier 1 vendor certification a plus (MCSA, MCSE, MCSM, CCNA, CCNP)   PROFESSION COMPETENCIES Business Acumen Conflict Management Risk Management Accuracy/Attention to Detail Business Process Improvement Capacity Planning/Management Cloud Computing Computer Systems Industry Conceptual Thinking Configuration Management Contracts Management and Admin Info. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
