Technical Applications Lead - Savory

Job Description It's an exciting time to be part of IFF's Savory Team! In this role you will provide Savory technical expertise in the development and application of flavors for both regional and global customers, providing the consumer preferred taste solutions IFF is known for. You will work alongside and be expected to lead cross-functional, high performing project teams. Additionally, you will drive the development of consumer and customer-preferred Savory products that leverage key IFF materials and technologies to stand out in the market place.   As a Technical Applications Lead, you'll spend your time...Leading the Savory Applications team, effectively deploying IFF's people processes, tools & programs.Developing direct reports & executing specific individual/team training programs in collaboration with category aligned resources and expertise. Technically guiding the Savory Applications team in support of external & internal customers in response to regional technical project briefs for the Savory Category for applications within IFF. You will also play the critical role of a Project Manager, providing cross-functional team leadership and guidance to the Savory Applications team. You will also be responsible for the Savory team's execution of flavor technology development within the Savory category, and developing winning flavor systems for key regional and global customers.    About You... That passion for exploration drives us to co-create unique scents and tastes in fine fragrances and beauty, detergents and household goods, as well as beloved foods and beverages.   Responsibilities Allocate appropriate technical resources for must win projects and timely completion to maximize win rate for IFF Develop and implement business plans, in conjunction with Sales, Category Marketing & SCI, to deliver on major projects for key accounts Implement Creative & Applications strategy with strategic & aligned global customers Foster strong creativity, innovation & presentation skills within the savory team  Encourage & enable use of new & IFF approved materials and Innovation Programs in flavors to offer IFF proprietary advantage and technical insulation Maintain close relationships with key accounts through teamwork, brainstorming and new technology sessions in order to consolidate customer partnerships Remain informed and connected to key customer brands, products and consumer preference of the assigned segments/category Advise, coordinate and guide Applications Team's formulation development & improvement Lead Applications Team to provide solutions for operational and ingredient issues as part of a cross functional team Focus & coordinate activity on category aligned Flavor Bank in-line with established metrics; coach & mentor Flavor Portfolio Technologist; support Savory Bank with the Flavor Portfolio Technologist, Technical Director and Category Manager Provide clear communication and promote cross-functional team collaboration on major projects to contribute to winning submissions       Required Skills   Demonstrated people leadership and management skills Strong problem solving skills, strong coaching/mentoring abilities Self-starter & ability to lead and/or work in a cross functional team environment Demonstrated problem-solving skills and creativity Demonstrated planning & execution ability       Required Experience BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science or related disciplines Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial food, pharmaceutical, ingredient or flavor industry Experience leading teams or major projects is required Flavor business knowledge, specifically, applying, and working with flavors Strong knowledge of Savory Products, Product Development and Food Safety   Preferred:  Masters &/or PhD preferred Strong knowledge of Food Safety, Raw Materials, Food Regulations, Sanitation, Savory Product and Production processes At least (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the Consumer Goods Industry Flavor business knowledge, specifically, applying, and working with flavors in Savory products a plus Project and Applications Team Management background Interpersonal and organization skills 5898-292

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
